Dom Pérignon Vintage 2002 – Plénitude 2, elevated to its second life, launched in Onomichi

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2002 – Plénitude2 was showcased in Onomichi, Hiroshima, a place connecting land, sea, sky and all force of nature, on June 18th.

The event was hosted by Vincent Chaperon, Dom Pérignon’s new Chef de Cave who took over the role from the legendary predecessor Richard Geoffroy in January 2019.

The guests were first invited to a deserted island for a solo tasting of this new vintage on the beach; an intimate discovery of the wine without food pairing or commentary, while overlooking the breathtaking view of the Setouchi ocean.

The tasting was followed by a pairing dinner, each dish highlighting a different aspect of Plénitude 2, a wine whose energy has reached a new height after over 16 years of maturation.
