NUMANTHIA ESTATE IS FOUNDED

Founded in 1998, Numanthia is situated in the Toro region. The vineyards, aged between 70 and 120 years old, can resist extreme weather conditions and very dry seasons thanks to layers of clay in the sub-soil below a surface of sandy rocks.

Opaque purple-coloured, the wine… has a sensational balance,
and a seamlessness that must be tasted to be believed.
It should age like a great vintage of Lafite or Latour and have at least a 50-year life span.

ART OF THE VINE PROJECT

Art of the Vine is a partnership with French artist Zoé Ouvrier who designed 5L boxes for Numanthia’s wine in order to perpetuate the legend of the city of Numancia. 134 5L bottles were drawn from three exceptional and dedicated 225L barrels.
